Erica: Housewarming!

Hi Everyone,

So this weekend happen to be my house warming party and it turned out great! A lot of my family and friends came out for support which I appreciate and also brought so many gifts. I have only been in my apartment for about 2 months but there was  still so much that I need in order to really be able to do a few things around the house. I think that I had one pan for about a month and kept paper plates and cups in the house, and I’m so busy that it was always hard for me to take out the time to really go house shopping. So the House warming really came in handy! So Now I have everything that I need, I think I many have more than I actually need!

So with this being my first house warming of course I was late getting everything together hahaha.  The party started at 5 and I think I was just finishing up round 4. For some reason I felt like I had a lot to do with about 20-25 people coming over. So I was glad that my mother was in town for the weekend and she helped with everything, which was great because I was running around town like a chicken with the head cut off for sure!

So needless to say that the party went great and I had such a good time and I got a lot of great gifts. Also after the house warming, friends and I decided to go out in New York which was amazing but also very serious. There was so much going on in New York with Cops patrolling the streets and doing random searches because of the terrible incident 10 years ago. I also have to say it made me really upset thinking about the thousands of lives that were lost 10 years ago and thankful to be where I am today. So Sat night was a very safe night, but overall a great one.

Hello everyone,

Back to the Work week!! But I have to say that my weekend went pretty good! I had a few appearances this weekend which went great! My first appearance was at TRAINING CAMP! Even though I got up extremely early I have to say that it was a good appearance. We do these every year and every year its always so enjoyable. Especially with us having a season this year every fan that came up to Leigh became very excited. So it was fun talking with the fans getting everyone’s views on what they expect from the team this year. And with this past First Pre season game we did a great job! It only makes you anxious for what is about to come for the regular season. Everybody is talking SUPERBOWL, and I can’t say that I’m not joining the crowd!!!

 Also this weekend is the last weekend that my brother and sister will be in town and they leave to go back to Florida this week! So we decided to go to New York and site see. I mean we had the greatest time!!! And I have to tell you that in New York you must run into every type of person. Sometimes it’s interesting and then sometimes it can be really weird.  Sooo we decided to go to the Empire State Building. What a great view. I must go to New York every week for work and I have yet to go to the top of the Empire State Building until this weekend. There must have been hundreds of people that came out to go to the top and the top is the 86^th floor and then to the 102 floor. I was so nervous that I was slightly leaning over the rail to look over but I really tried to walk around and look at the view from all different angles.  It was hard trying to have fun up there but also being a little scared at the same time.  Overall the trip was great!. and the famous NY pizza was “off the hook” . hahahaha. 

To conclude my weekend, it was one of my good friends birthday so we all decided to go to eat and have drinks.  I’m actually one of those kinds of people who don’t have to do a lot for a birthday. I can have a great dinner with all my friends and maybe hang out afterwards. But I really don’t need to be amongst a whole lot of people and that’s how my friend is. We went out for a simple dinner and to a lounge afterwards and we all had a good time… and that was pretty much my weekend. This weekend more than others I did have a lot going on but I had fun doing it!!!

Erica: Omg.. Lost

Hey Everyone,

So this week is starting off pretty easy!!! Thank goodness. A few weeks ago my Boss quit and I was working with myself, by myself but today the new boss started!!  Now I feel like I have had a huge load lifted off my shoulders!!! yay!!!

On another note this weekend was interesting. I decided to go walking on a trail in jersey just because. Of course I was with one other person and the person I happened to be with had no sense of direction. You know when you’re on a trail and it can split into like 4 different directions, well that’s what happened to my trail. I didn’t see it as a problem at first because I’m usually pretty good with finding my way back ect. Mannnnnnnn let me tell you all of a sudden I was surrounded by trees, bushes and I started to freak out because I didn’t know if I should go right or left and everything started to look the same. It was the craziest thing! My friend thought it was funny that I was freaking out but I couldn’t laugh about it until I found where I started…

And to think, I was just trying to take a walk, nothing serious. That whole situation must have lasted for about 1hr. I was lost for about 30 min! I can laugh now but when I was lost it was not funny!!

So besides my lost trail expenditure I also spent the weekend with my brother and sister. Yes, they are still here from Tampa visiting!! So I try to spend as much time as possible with them before they have to go back to school. This weekend we will be going to Six Flags! I think I may have to try out that Green Lantern ride!! I’ll let you know how it goes!!

Erica: Miami

Hi Everyone,

Soooo right now I am visiting MIAMI with friends and having such a great time, but it is extremely hot!!!! I have been so busy with work lately I figured I’d come out here to get away and to visit the beaches. So far so good! If anyone hasn’t gone to Miami I suggest going, it’s a great place to relax and also enjoy the sun and to have fun. I had just come from the beach and let me tell you the water is amazing, not to cold not to hot! I have been in the water so long I think that I have gotten a few shades darker!

On a regular basis I’ll go to Atlantic City to lounge out, I don’t usually get in the water, but going out of town and visiting other countries you get use to the Blue, green water and you always want to go back.

I’m actually blogging from my phone headed back to the hotel now to get myself together to go around town and to do a little shopping. Sooo as I’m headed back right now this random guy out of nowhere starts playing Lady Gaga “Just Dance” on a saxophone right behind me. Don’t ask me where he got the saxophone from, but I’m at the traffic light waiting, so now I have nowhere to go!! GREAT!…………

At the HOTEL!!! I have to say the view is great!

Ok well I’m about to get myself together and enjoy the rest of my day with my friends and see what other random things happen today! Talk to you soon.

Erica: moving and other stuff

Hi Everyone,

So this past weekend was about me moving and hanging out with the family. Starting this week off I have to say that I am a little exhausted. When I say exhausted, I think I was sleeping with my eyes open at work but still working somehow.

So yes I have moved and I am very excited. I haven’t really set up the place fully but it is getting there slowly but surely!!! I must have been moving from 11am to 11PM (well I wasn’t moving too much, I had everybody else helping. I was doing more directing). I have attached some of the photos to get a little bit of an idea of what it looks like!! Also right down the street is a church that I may want to check out as well. Needless to say from now on when I go to church I have to bring my own Bible. The last time I went to a different church to visit, the preacher was going sooo fast with the scriptures that I couldn’t keep up. And to make it worst the bible I had wasn’t mine so it didn’t have tabs, so I must have been searching, and searching for the scriptures, but by the time I found it he was on another one!! So I will have my bible from now on that way I’m not looking crazy in church!

Besides moving I also have been hanging out with my family as well. My brother and sister are visiting from Tampa for the summer and I love hanging with them. They are sooo funny I swear they should have their own reality show. It’s funny because I tried to tape them on my phone so I can show people how funny they are especially when they are cracking jokes on each other. They found out what I was doing and they started to act unnatural, and I think thatwas even funnier!

Erica: Happy Fathers Day

Hello Everyone

Happy Fathers Day to every celebrating being a father.

Today I’m with my family celebrating fathers day! what makes it so much more fun and exciting is that my little brother and sister are here as well to celebrate with our dad. Well actually my brother and sister live with my mom in Florida so since they are off for the summer it’s great that they are here. This morning we went to church and such a great time. Not sure if any of you remember from my last post but the last time I went to church I forgot to bring my bible and what a hard time I was having trying to find the scriptures. BUT I had my bible (with the tabs) and I was able to find them much more quickly!! yay!! So right now we are at my grandparents house having a cook out and having a great time!

So also with it being fathers day and all, I actually have more great news. I’m actually moving and found a great apartment. I’m pretty excited about it because it will be mine, by myself and no roommates. I have to say it’s always good to have roommates because someone will always be home to tell your stories to but I think that I will like having my own space and not have to worry about if the roommate has done there part around the house. So When its all put together I will have to give everyone a heads up to see the after pictures on the blog!!

Well I’m actually writing this post at my grandparents house, so I’m going to get back to the party, eat more cookout food, and have more fun!
