Memorial Day Weekend!

Posted by eaglesjess328 on May 31, 2011 – 11:45 pm

The Front Guards I met.

Welcome back Eagles Fans!  This has been an eventful weekend!   Before I get into the fun holiday weekend stuff, I want to share how my work week ended.  Work was very busy this week.   It’s always good to see people come back after surgery so happy to be pain-free.  On Thursday after another long day in clinic I got a wonderful surprise!  I was summoned to the front desk to sign for a package.  To my delight there was the most beautiful Edible Bouquet waiting for me sent by one of our patients.   It was a magnificent arrangement filled with an assortment of fresh fruit including pineapple, bananas and chocolate covered strawberries.  It was timely and enjoyed by everyone in the office since we were there late, as usual.  I needed a little energy to get me through a few more phone calls and a stack of paperwork.  The bouquet was so unnecessary but much appreciated and very unexpected and generous.  It meant so much to me.

I was fortunate to start my weekend a little early on Friday; I was able to leave work around noon.  Although I had to sit in some holiday weekend traffic, I was starting my long weekend early so I was in no rush and nothing was going to get me down!  The sky was clear with a few clouds; it was warm and there was an ocean breeze sweeping across our yard.  I took Mick outside to play fetch.  When we got too hot, I got into my bathing suit to enjoy the sun while Mick lay at my feet munching on a pile of ice cubes.  I was able to relax and feel the weight of the week just melt away.

The Monument for Passed Midshipmen.

We got off to an early start on Saturday; Dave had a Championship Football game in Annapolis, Maryland.  I wanted to have some time to sightsee before the start of the game so we left early.  My mom and I had lunch at a nice sushi restaurant located in the heart of Annapolis.  The weather was fantastic; it was warm, the sun was shining.  We decided to go on a quick tour of the United States Naval Academy; this seemed fitting in honor of our service men and women for the Memorial Day holiday.  The grounds were spectacular and I had the opportunity to chat with two of the front gate guards.  Neither one was an Eagles fan, but I let it slide since they were in uniform…  They carry some pretty heavy artillery which was a little intimidating to see up-close.  As would be expected, they were perfect gentlemen and were nice enough to pose for a picture.  We walked around and got some pictures at various monuments.  I would like to go back to take a guided tour and learn more about the history of the Academy.

The Fountain in front of Chauvenet Hall.

It was a great day to watch a football game.  Honestly, it was too hot to play football and run around in all that football gear for my liking but it was a nice day to be supportive and watch from the sidelines.   Unfortunately, Dave’s team didn’t win the game, but it was a great game — they held their own.  It was a tough loss, but there is always next year!  They will come back stronger and tougher!

We spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and visiting with family and friends.  On Sunday while everyone was heading to the beach, we left the traffic and crowds of the shore towns behind to spend the day with Dave’s family in Glenside, Pennsylvania.  On Monday we hung by the pool instead of heading to the beach and dealing with the traffic.  I got a nice base tan over the weekend so the weekend was a total success!

Kathleen and I relaxing in the pool.

On Sunday night Dave and I headed out to North Wildwood to meet up with my friends Ayva and Tommy.  Ayva and I met my first year on the Philadelphia Eagles squad and have been great friends ever since.  Fortunately, they have a house at the shore for the summer, so I am looking forward to spending a lot more time with them!

Well Eagles fans, Mick is getting tired, as am I, so I’m going to put him to bed and get some sleep myself.  I’m looking forward to another eventful week so be sure to check back next week to read all about it!

P.S. My lobster dinner was a huge success!

See you out there!

Happy Summer!

Posted by Jen on May 31, 2011 – 2:25 pm

Hi Eagles Fans!  I hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend and had lots of fun during the unofficial start of summer!  We really couldn’t have asked for better weather.  On Saturday, I spent most of the day at the dance studio that I teach at.  I taught from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM that day, so by the time I got home, I was exhausted and spent the rest of the night relaxing.  However, I did wake up early on Sunday morning, took my dog for our usual morning jog, and then headed for the beach!  I spent the day in Brigantine, NJ since my boyfriend has a beach house there.  I really love the beach at Brigantine, because it’s so quiet and much less crowded than some of the other beaches at the Jersey Shore.  I tend to enjoy being in the low-key, family oriented parts of the shore much more.  I also love Cape May for those same reasons; plus, it’s such a pretty and quaint town.  We spent the entire day on Sunday relaxing on the beach.  It was SO nice to have a day off and spend it outsude on the beach!  I rarely have a single day off during the year, so when I do, I’m so grateful for it.  On Monday, my boyfriend and I did a little shopping at the Atlantic City Outlets.  Believe it or not, I don’t always love shopping!  Normally, when I go shopping, I have a specific item in mind that I want to purchase, and I’m in and out of the stores in no time.  Shopping at the outlets is always pretty fun though, because you get to spend some time outside and enjoy the weather.  Monday was certainly a perfect day for that, and sales were pretty good too.  I didn’t buy a single thing though!

Today my schedule is back to normal, which means that I’m back at the dance studio all week long.  My students’ recital is this weekend, so I will be working very hard this week preparing for that.  I really love our annual, end of the year recital though, because I get to watch all of my choreography come to life on stage.  It’s so incredibly rewarding to see all of my hard work, and of course, all of my students’ hard work, pay off.  Well, I’m about to head to the gym in a few minutes.  I hope you all have a great week.  I will be sure to keep in touch with all of you very soon!

Go Eagles!

Jen

Relaxing on the beach!

Back from Disney World!

Posted by kelseyeaglescheerleader on May 30, 2011 – 8:22 pm

Hey everyone!,

So in my last blog I had said that I was leaving for Disney World for a girls trip with two of my close friends.  I just got back yesterday and I had SO much fun!  Our trip was jam-packed with fun from going to the parks all day and Downtown Disney during the night.  There is so much to tell you all, but this post would end up being a small novel instead of a blog :) , so I will give a shortened version.  We started our first day at Epcot, which is tied with Magic Kingdom as my favorite park.  I love walking through all of the countries, because it really makes you feel like you’re visiting each of them all in one day!

Me infront of the Epcot Ball

The next day we went to Hollywood Studios where my two favorite rides are, Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Rollercoaster!  They are so much fun and I was screaming all throughout the rides.  Then the last 2 days of our trip we spent at Magic Kingdom.  Stepping into that park and seeing the beautiful castle is amazing.  It’s so cheerful and fun there and I made sure to get pictures with a lot of the Disney princesses!

us girls in front of the Magic Kingdom Castle

Each night we spent at Downtown Disney where there is a ton of great shops and restaurants as well as the delicious Ghirardelli’s Ice Cream and Chocolate Parlor, which I absolutely love!

Ghirardelli's! ...yumm

It was a great trip and loads of fun.  I can’t wait to go back to Disney, and hopefully it won’t be too long until that happens :)

Me and Belle!

As for the rest of this week I am going to enjoy the beautiful weather that is expected, and hoping to hit the beach a few days!

Happy Memorial Day.  Have a great week everyone and stay cool!

until my next blog, E-A-G-L-E-S!

A Beach Week!

Posted by traceyeagles on May 30, 2011 – 4:42 pm

Hey Eagles Fans!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! What a day it is too, the weather could not be more beautiful. Right now I am getting ready to head back down the shore to stay with our neighbors who have a wonderful house in Ocean City. Jonathan and I were able to pop down on Saturday, to celebrate their daughter Marley’s 1st Birthday but with work, we could only stay for a few hours. The beach was packed and surprisingly, the water wasn’t too cold. I did manage to stay in for about ten minutes before my finger nails started turning blue and my teeth started chattering :)

Sunday morning was my “zen”, spa day. A few of us cheerleaders met at Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon for girls day out to celebrate Stephanie’s birthday in the most relaxing way possible. We all had an amazing time and were really pampered from head to toe! I had a great massage followed by a sea soak, where I was in a giant tub with 52 jets, anti-stress oils, seaweed extract and bath salts and it was wonderful! I had a nice bowl of fresh oranges next to me and they were quite refreshing to eat while I soaked up the lavish spa treatment. Afterwards, we all had a great lunch followed by a special dessert! I decided to make Stephanie red velvet cupcakes from scratch so I was busy baking on Saturday night. I did go a little overboard, trying to feel like I was a cake decorator (which I realized is not my true calling…) topping each cupcake with handmade, icing flowers in fun colors. Take a look!

After our relaxing day my fiance and I decided to have a date night and went to the movies for a double feature. We saw Bridesmaids and The Hangover Part II. Both of the movies were hysterical and we were laughing almost the entire time. If you have not seen these movies yet, I recommend that you head to the theatre before it’s too late! The actors in the films were great and the humor in some of the characters lines really made the film.

Well, I better hurry up and pack so that we can have the most time at the beach. I’ll be soaking up some sun until Wednesday but of course I will have on my spf50….that’s the only thing that stinks about being a natural redhead, I don’t tan and I burn easily! I’m just hoping that I’m not too blinding to others on the beach haha.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy the last few hours of this holiday weekend. There sure is a great aroma of cookouts in the air!

Until next week,

Xoxo,

Tracey

Fleet Week & Memorial Day Weekend

Posted by marissaxdance on May 29, 2011 – 6:56 pm

Hello!

What a busy week it has been!  I had many errands to run because I was moving down the shore for the summer and I had many things to buy for the house.  I had to get the keys to the shore house and take them to a locksmith to get made.  Many of the houses in Margate City, New Jersey were built in the 1800’s early 1900’s and each house had their own locksmith to make a combination for their doors so that it would be hard to copy the code to unlock the door.  This is why I had to go to a lock smith so he could chisel the key to the exact form as the key to my shore house.  I learned this all from the owner at the store. He even let me use the machine to cut out one of the keys, it was really fascinating.

When I found some extra time, I finally finished my Eagles Cheerleading scrapbook and I am so happy with it!  I like to print all of my pictures because they are memories I can look back on and reminisce about.  It contains pictures from last year’s Open Call Auditions, the Mexico calendar trip, game days, and several appearances.  I think it will be cool to show family and friends years from now!

On Thursday, I was given the opportunity to go to Manhattan, New York City for their annual Fleet Week.  Fleet Week is from May 25-May 30 to celebrate and honor Memorial Day Weekend and all of our troops.  I was with cheerleaders Sarah, Danielle, and Danae for this appearance and it was hands down the best appearance I have ever been a part of.  We were aboard WWII’s S.S. Iowa Jima with hundreds of military men and NFL sponsors.  It was great to see the troops, take pictures, and chat with them.  They had different sections where visitors could see their helicopters and weapons and learn a little bit about them and how to use them.  We also got to take part in making snack packages to send overseas to the troops!  It felt great to know my efforts would put a smile on a soldiers face.

There was also a football contest on the ship where you had to get the football into the net and you could win a Pepsi sponsored tee-shirt that read “Support the Troops.”  Of course I gave my football skills a shot, but I missed the net by a few inches!  One of the Marines over heard me say I wanted a shirt and did the contest and won a shirt, then found me so he could give me it!  Wow, how sweet right?!  Thank You Soldier Terry!

For the rest of the weekend, I plan to relax with family and friends at the shore and get a nice suntan.  Memorial Day Weekend officially starts my summer and I am beyond excited!!

Until then.. GO EAGLES!

Cat: I’m a GRADUATE!

Posted by EaglesCheerleaderCat on May 28, 2011 – 11:51 am

The Family after Graduation!

Hey Eagles Fans!

What a great week! I am finally a graduate! Exactly one week ago on Saturday, I walked across the stage of DeSales University and received my diploma! It is such a great feeling to know that all of the late night studying and paper-writing paid off, and I can now proudly say that I am a graduate!

Father Daughter Dance!

My last post I mentioned the DeSales Dinner Dance, and I am happy to say it was an amazing time! I was able to sit with my boyfriend and his family, and it was so great to spend time with our families and celebrate our graduation. Dinner was great, and the halls were decorated with our freshmen-year student ID photos!

It was so funny to look and point out our faces from freshmen year and to see how much everyone had changed within the past four years! Some of the professors were in attendance as well, and it was good to chat with them outside of the classroom and to get to hear their advice and good wishes. Of course dinner followed by some very intense dancing, and it was great to see my parents having such a good time! I was even able to save a slow dance for my dad!

Getting my Diploma!

All of the Sisters!

The following day started off with everyone lining up for the procession, and myself and the other dance majors had a few laughs as we waited in the EXTREMELY HOT hallway! I never minded the heat that much, and I was glad it was a sunny day, but with all of the other seniors in that small hallway it was a tad uncomfortable. But no one minded… we were going to graduate! Everyone processed into the gymnasium and it was a great ceremony. I was so excited to hear my name and hold my diploma. After everyone processed outside, there was a nice reception outside, and even though it took me a while to find my family through the hustle and bustle of everyone, I was so happy to see them and to give some graduate-hugs to everyone and their families!

Since we were only given a small amount of graduation tickets, we rushed home to join the rest of my sisters for a dinner celebration at home in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. As always, we had a great time talking about old times and chatting about the future. I also had a good time playing with my two nephews, and niece, and of course my puppy Cali. It was a truly great graduation celebration!

This past week I was able to relax, get some sun, and do some heavy spring cleaning! It was so great to go through all of my papers for school and to really get myself organized for my jobs, and of course the eagles! It was also a busy week in terms of room-mate news.

Me and my roommates at the Draft Party!

I was sad to see my roommate Sarah pack her things and move away, but she is in the process of getting her masters degree and is going to be a very successful teacher! My other roommate Helen and I also greeted a new roommate Christina, and even though I am sad to see Sarah go, I am looking forward to living with her as well! We had our last room mate night making smores, and chatting about old times. It was nice to have a girls night, and to have a good last night of relaxation as Helen and I start our new jobs and begin to get busy again!

Well Eagles Fans, that is all I have to update you on for this week! I am so happy to be a graduate, and am so excited to start off my life into the “real world”! As always, until next time, GO EAGLES!

Dani: I said “yes” to the dress

Posted by daniec10 on May 27, 2011 – 11:45 am

Hey Eagles Fans!

I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine. I am hoping the summer sunshine is finally here to stay. I have had such an eventful week and I am so excited to share it with all of you. Last Saturday I visited Kleinfelds in New York City for my first bridal gown fitting. I had an absolutely amazing time and I can’t wait until my dress is complete and I can take it home.

Me outside of Kleinfelds

A little over a year ago, I went to Kleinfelds with my mom and maid of honor to begin the search for my wedding dress. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Kleinfelds, it is the biggest bridal store in America and it is a bridal paradise. The store is beautiful and from the moment you step foot inside their doors, you are captivated by the bridal spirit. Picking a dress for me was easier than I had anticipated. The consultant I worked with was wonderful and she really listened to what I was looking for. After trying on about 5-6 dresses, she put me in the dress I chose. The second I put the dress on I knew it was the one. It is absolutely perfect and I can’t wait for my fiance Scott and all of my wedding guests to see it.

A sign inside Klenfelds - such great advice :)

At my first fitting, I was just ecstatic to be able to see my dress and to put it on again. Since it had been over a year, I had almost forgotten what it looked like. My grandmother, future mother in law, and mom all attended the appointment with me. I was very excited for my grandmother and mother in law to see it for the first time. When it came time for the big reveal, they were in awe, which made me incredibly happy and reassured me I had made the right choice. It felt amazing to have the dress on again and I felt like a princess wearing the dress.

Prior to the appointment I had purchased some shoes I thought would go well with my gown; however, upon arriving at Kleinfelds I absolutely fell in love with another pair of shoes. The consultant was nice enough to let me try them on with my gown so I could see if they were a good match with my dress. The shoes were perfect, and I got to test out their comfort while standing for an hour for my alterations. Needless to say, I left the store with a new pair of shoes I absolutely can’t wait to wear.

My new shoes and a sneak peak of the bottom of my dress!

Overall, my first alterations appointment went smoother than I ever expected. It left me with such a sense of relief and the anticipation for my wedding is truly building. Alright, Eagles fans, I have so much to do. My best friend Jenn gets married tomorrow and I absolutely can’t wait to share photos with you. Wish me luck on my maid of honor speech; I am going to need it :)

Until next time . . E-A-G-L-E-S  EAGLES!

Kay’s Girl For Life!

Posted by Danielle_Eagles on May 24, 2011 – 6:51 pm

Hey There!

So I am officially moved out of my house and I couldn’t be happier!   A lot of memories were created there, so it was sad to see the house go, but moving was not a fun task at all and I’m glad to be done.  I spent the whole day on Saturday moving all my belongings to a storage unit because I unfortunately have to wait a week until I can move into my new house located down the street.  I will be living with two of my closest friends, Brittney and Julia who you will be meeting soon.  I have been getting ready for the new house by shopping for decor and thinking of ideas for my bedroom.  I came to a conclusion that I will be painting my room yellow and my roommate Julia and I will be sharing a bathroom so we have been discussing different ideas together.  For now I am spending the week back at home relaxing, hanging out with friends, and seeing family, while still getting out in the community for appearances.

Last performance with Kay's Act II Dance Studio !

My first day home was a blast, it was a great way to start the week off!  I had a rehearsal at my studio that I grew up dancing at, Kay’s Act II.  Women of all ages came together to learn an alumni dance that we will be performing at the end of June for the annualrecital.  We met for four hours and ended up finishing the entire dance which was amazing!  We are going to perform a three-minute jazz number to the song, Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx.  The dance is fun and easy choreography that’s enjoyable to watch but it is so fast paced, I had a hard time keeping up.  I have two weeks to practice until the next rehearsal so I am confident I will have it down by then. It was great to see all the other women that I grew up with and it definitely brought back tons of memories.  It was so much fun but also a great work out, I was definitely sore the next day from all the dancing we did.

The 2011 dance team and I after one of their amazing competitions !

After the rehearsal I rushed to get ready and headed to a great fundraiser for the studio.  They had a spaghetti dinner to help raise money to go to nationals for Starpower down in Ocean City, Maryland.  It was located at a small hall down the street where we had a delicious Italian dinner that was donated for the event.  Family, friends and fellow dancers gathered to have dinner and enjoyed performances of the award-winning dances.  Even though I have left the studio two years ago I still consider it as a second home.  The girls there are amazing and I love them all!  I have gained so much knowledge and so many friendships through the years from that studio and it will always have a special place in my heart.  Growing up I would be found there 6 days out of the week working on my technique, growing as a young women and as a dancer.  They have pushed me to follow my dreams and all believe that I can achieve any goals I set for myself.

Since we don’t have another rehearsal with Suzy down at Bally’s for another week, I want to make sure I keep up on my dancing.  My best friend, Colleen and I are going to take a class down at the amazing Koresh School of Dance in Philadelphia.  I am so excited to go because I have only been there once and it was amazing!  After the class we plan to get dinner at Tequilas, a fabulous Mexican restaurant in the city that Colleen works at.  Since we go to school and hour away from each other, it’s hard to spend time together with our busy schedules, so it will be fun to catch up and do things like we used too.

I have a job interview tomorrow and I’m kind of nervous.  Since class is done for the summer, I figured I would add to the craziness and get a second job to keep busy.  Along with retail and cheering, I thought waitressing would be a great addition to my resume.  Wish me luck, I hope it goes well and I end up getting the job!

xoxoDanielle

Welcome to my world!

Posted by eaglesjess328 on May 24, 2011 – 9:52 am

Hey Eagles fans, I’m really excited to give you a glimpse of my life outside of the Eagles stadium.  This is my third season with the Eagles and my very first blog!  This promises to be a fun and eventful summer, so be sure to come back each week to keep up with my exciting activities and my day-to-day routine!

This is my Micky, he is so handsome.

To get things started I’ll tell you a little bit about myself.  I live by the beach and I absolutely love it.  It’s like being on vacation everyday.  I can hear the seagulls and smell the ocean from my backyard.  It is very relaxing.  I live here with my boyfriend, Dave, and our terror German shepherd, Mick.  Mick is a year and 4 months old.  Although he weighs 91 pounds and is taller than I am when he stands on his hind legs, he is not yet fully grown.  He is my baby and I absolutely love him.  Mick thinks he is a human being and I am not convinced that he isn’t… I don’t mind spoiling him.  Most people think I am crazy because of everything I do for him.  Mick has his own room with a huge fluffy couch which he sleeps comfortably on.  He eats gourmet foods.  All of his meals are topped with chicken or pork gravy and parmesan cheese which is his favorite.  Anyone who has a dog will understand why I enjoy making Micky happy.

We recently installed a hot  tub, so most nights I have the luxury of unwinding in our little piece of heaven.  The weather has been a little shaky with the rain and awful storms, but we had a wonderful weekend.  If the weather continues to be warm, we should be able to open our pool in the next few weeks.  I live in the ultimate location; I am a quick ride from the beach; a short trip to Atlantic City where I do most of my shopping.  Between the outlet stores in The Walk and the shops in The Pier, I can always find whatever I need.

Dave and I, this was taken a couple of weeks ago in Miami. We took a mini-vacation for my cousin's wedding.

Saturday was the nicest day of the entire week.  I had an appearance at the NovaCare Complex for the Men’s Academy and I could not ask for a more beautiful day.  The sun was shining and there were a few clouds in the sky which came in handy when we needed some shade.  Tiffany and I were together for the entire appearance and I must say we picked the most entertaining station.  We got to play quarterback for a little while.  I have to admit I need to practice–my aim definitely needs some work.  It was a lot of fun and the men we played with took it easy on us.  We started to get a little better toward the end of the day.  Next year I’ll be more advanced!  I have all summer on the beach to work on my passing game.

As I am blogging, I’m preparing a special dinner for my hardworking boyfriend who is still at work.  I’m a pretty good cook.  Tonight I am cooking whole lobster, corn on the cob and my exceptional garlic Yukon gold potato dish.  I enjoy cooking and baking and it is even more enjoyable when I have someone who really appreciates it.  I’m looking forward to seeing Dave’s reaction to my dinner tonight!  Sooo, I’m going to get the cooking started and I’ll let you know how it turns out!

See you out there!

The Start of a Great Year!

Posted by arielleeagles on May 24, 2011 – 9:52 am

Hey Eagles Fans!

My name is Arielle and this is my first year on the squad! I am beyond excited to begin blogging with you and giving you all an inside scoop on my everyday life! We have a lot of catching up to do, being that this is my first blog! To begin, I cannot express how excited and honored I am to be a part of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. I have only been a part of the squad for one month now, and I already know it is going to be an amazing year full of amazing experiences and great friendships. With only one month down, I have already had so many new experiences including the Trading Card Photo shoot, the Draft Party appearance, meetings and rehearsals. But before we get to that, I’d love to fill you in on my audition experience.

I made the decision to audition when I moved home from NYC last year. When I was little, my dance instructor’s sister was an Eagles Cheerleader and I just thought that was the coolest thing ever! I have always kept the idea in the back of my mind, and when I moved home last year, I thought I’d go for it! (and I’m so glad it did!). With 2 pre-audition workshops, the open-call, semi-finals, and finals, the audition process wasn’t an easy one- to say the least. I went to the open-call with around 400 other

My brother and I after the Final Audition Show. He is certainly my #1 fan!

girls, and honestly, it was very intimidating. But once I made it through to semi-finals, I knew this was a reachable goal and I had to give it my all if I really wanted to make the squad. Once I made it through semi-finals, I couldn’t wait to perform in the 2011 Final Audition Show at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. I spent the whole month preparing, which included endless hours in different malls searching for the right swimwear, workout wear and evening wear outfits. When the show finally rolled around, I was so eager to get up on that stage and compete. I had a lot of support in the audience including my mom, dad, brother, my cousin and her boyfriend, and a surprise visit from my boyfriend! (I didn’t know he was there until after the show!) They came with a big sign and cheered me on every time I was up on stage. I couldn’t thank them enough for all of the support! When I woke up the next morning and found out I made the squad, I was beyond excited. To be honest, I can’t really explain the emotions that were rushing through my head. I just knew that I had an amazing year ahead of me!

At the 2011 Draft Party, the rookies performed a cheer for the first time together!

However, there wasn’t too much time to celebrate because we jumped right into meetings, rehearsals, and our first appearance to start off the 2011 season! The Draft Party appearance was a blast and it was an amazing feeling to perform as a part the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading Squad. For the rookies, it was our very first time in uniform, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say, we were VERY excited putting on the Vera Wang summer uniform. After performing with the 2011 squad, we spent the night greeting guests, taking pictures and signing autographs. To sum it up, my first appearance as an Eagles Cheerleader was amazing and most certainly unforgettable.

Up next on the agenda was a trip to the Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon for the 2011 Trading Card Shoot! When I arrived, I jumped right into hair and makeup. It was so fun getting my hair and makeup professionally done by the salon’s amazing staff! When it came time for my photo shoot, I was definitely a little nervous, but more so, very excited! Being up there with the fan blowing and directions coming in left and right from the photographer and Barbara, I felt like a superstar! It was my first photo shoot ever, and thanks to all of the  incredible staff involved, it was definitely a memorable one! Later that week I picked my photo and I can’t wait for it to be posted on the Eagles website for all of you to see!

Finally, last Wednesday we had our first dance rehearsal with our choreographer, Suzy Zucker. I couldn’t wait to rehearse with the squad, but I knew I had give 110% throughout the entire 3 hour rehearsal. She worked mainly on technique and ended the rehearsal working on dance routines. The class wasn’t easy, but I love a challenge and I can’t wait for our next rehearsal!

Well Eagles fans, I think I covered everything as far as my journey to becoming an Eagles Cheerleader! I can’t wait to continue my blogging so that you can all get to know me even better! Next time, I’ll stray away from Eagles experiences and let you know what’s going on in my personal life. Hopefully the weather will clear up soon so I can fit in some beach trips! I’ll talk to you guys soon!!

GO EAGLES!

Xo,

Arielle
